Well, Mr. Pete is now 2 weeks and 2 days old. It has been a fun and very easy process adjusting to having another child in our house. It helps that Bryan is an awesome dad and I think we are a pretty good parenting team. Aubrey loves "baby peep!" She always wants to hold him, asks him what's wrong and LOVES to give him kisses. We have been out a few times this week with our little family and it has been a blast.
Pete had his 2 week apptointment today and can you believe that he gained 2 lbs in two weeks and two days? He was 7 lbs 7 oz., 21" long when he was born, 7 lbs 4 oz. when he left the hospital, and now he is a whopping 9 lbs 7 oz. & 22 1/2" long. It is pretty amazing. He is in the 95th percentile for his height and in the 75th percentile for his weight. So, needless to say, it was a good appointment and everything is great! I have to say that Pete has been such a joy. I love getting to know him more and he seems to have such a gentle nature. LOVE IT!

ReplyDeleteHe is SO cute!!! I can't wait to meet him. I can't believe he gained 2 lbs. in a week. I thought Lars was doing good to gain 10 oz. in 2 weeks!
