Here are some pics from this weekend. Actually just Saturday. We had a busy day. We went to a little swim party with Aubrey,
then to the Allen's to visit with them and the Gunters and eat some delicious BBQ. After that, we went to a wedding. (one of Bryan's friends got married in Kilgore) Aubrey was pretty worn out by the end of the day but she seemed to have fun. I think she will be a social buterfly.
Our friend, Melissa, took this picture of our family at Mcalister's and I thought it looked staged for some kind of advertisement. "McALISTER’s DELI, the family restaurant."
Our little girl is growing up. Yesterday marked a special day. It was exactly 4 months since she had graced us with her presence outside of the womb. She was suppose to have a 4 month appointment but it is not for another 3 weeks because her pediatrician has been so booked. I weighed her though on our scales here at home and she weighed 14 lbs. She has been talking a lot and here lately she has found that she can make more than just one pitch with her voice. This is pretty cute to witness so here you go.
I was making dinner the other night and I had turned my monitor on to listen for Aubrey. She was making coos and sucking her thumb so I thought I would make my first video clip of the sweetest sound.
Here are the pictures of Aubrey in her first swimsuit as promised. We decided to go with the American flag theme this year because the disney princesses, dora and the bratz swimsuits are overrated. I think the American flag is a nice touch don't you think?
The family went for a swim at my friend, Vanessa's birthday party on June the 3rd. Aubrey seemed to be indifferent to the water. It was cold but she didn't seem to mind. I predict that she will be a little water bug next summer. You'll see! Bryan showed Aubrey how to kick in the water.
Aubrey has recently found her feet and she can't get enough of them. She loves just playing with them all day. She hasn't started to put them in her mouth yet but I am sure that when she figures out she can, she will do it all the time.
We have been putting Aubs in the Bumbo more, especially now that she can hold her head up better; also, we can't fail to mention her new four legged friend (sorry Buck) She loves to hold and drool on this weird looking "spider-cat" as Bryan calls it.
